- The cleanest method of making your property safe during winter
- Ideal for areas where cleanliness is important - hospitals, office receptions, shopping centres, etc
- 10 Kg bags are easy to handle and reduce the risk of injuries from lifting
- Low maintenance – there is no residue to sweep up or drains to be cleared
- Meets BS 3247 to ensure high purity
- Harvested from sustainable sources around the Mediterranean Sea
- White salt is unlikely to clog up salt spreaders
White rock salt is purer than brown rock salt and clean to use, leaving no dirty residue to be trodden into carpets in buildings and vehicles. As it contains a higher concentration of sodium chloride (approx. 99.9%), it dissolves quickly, meaning it can break through snow and ice with far greater speed and ease than other alternatives.
Our salt meets BS 3247 which is the British standard for de-icing salt and is harvested from sustainable sources around the Mediterranean Sea. It is carefully screened to produce the most effective spread pattern increasing pedestrian safety and the working life of spreading equipment.
White rock salt works better in colder conditions, as it decreases the freezing point of water and can generate heat. It is considered a safer and environmentally friendly option as it's better for plants, pets and children. This factor makes it more suitable for use at home.
Delivery Restrictions - Important
- Each pallet is 1.2 tonnes and cannot be delivered with a tail lift. A forklift (or some form of offloading) is required on site to offload.
- Please let us know of any delivery restrictions (weak bridges, narrow lanes etc).
- Failure to notify us of any such restrictions may result in a surcharge and delays.
- Due to the size and weight of the delivery lorries we need you to confirm that the area where you require the delivery is flat.
- We cannot deliver on sloping ground, as the tail lift must be able to lay flat on the ground.
- Please note that all products are delivered to the kerbside by a tail lift lorry, and our couriers are unable to deliver to a specific location on your property.
- All aggregates will require a signature upon delivery.
