FREE DELIVERY!
This full pallet of x40 25kg bags of brown rock salt will be delivered on a tail lift vehicle (with pallet truck), therefore no unloading equipment is required at the delivery address.
Brown rock salt is used for winter maintenance gritting and will ensure that high footfall areas are clear of snow and ice. It works by lowering the freezing point of the surface it is applied to help prevent ice forming.
Our rock salt meets BS 3247 which is the British standard for de-icing salt. Our salt is the same quality as used by councils, local authorities and Highways England.
Our 25kg bags of brown rock salt include sand and dirt particles to help the salt stick to the surface and to increase the levels of traction.
The rock salt is treated with an anti-caking agent which makes the salt free-flowing and suitable for use in salt spreaders. It also helps to prevent the salt from solidifying during long term storage.
Brown (pink) salt is best suited for spreading across large areas such as open public spaces and is a more cost-effective option in large volumes.
Delivery Information – Please Read
Full pallet deliveries are made on large vehicles (up to 44 tonnes), so the delivery point must be flat, level and able to support the weight of the lorry. The tail lift needs to sit fully on the ground, which means we unfortunately can’t deliver on slopes.
If there are any access restrictions — narrow lanes, low bridges, weight limits or tight turns — please mention these at checkout. It helps us send the right vehicle first time and avoids any delays or surcharges.
All palletised salt is delivered kerbside only using a tail-lift and pallet truck, and a signature will be required. Couriers aren’t able to move pallets onto driveways or specific locations on your site.
