These grit bins are factory seconds. While these are perfectly fit for use, the “GRIT” decal on these units may either be misshaped or torn. There may also be small pinholes in the outer shell. Please see the product images for examples.

The stackable and high-quality construction of this 7 Cu Ft Grit Bin has made it a very popular choice for offices, shopping centres, car parks and loading bays for the storage of grit salt or ice melt.
Manufactured from robust and UV-resistant polyethylene which won’t discolour after long term sun exposure and can be kept outdoors all-year-round.
The angled, hinged lid keeps snow and ice from settling on top of the salt bin, ensuring it is easy to use even in the harshest of snowfall.
The integral fork channels allow it to be easily manoeuvred with a forklift, which means it can be easily positioned, even when full of rock salt. This portability makes these salt bins an excellent choice for winter maintenance in warehouses, haulage depots, car parks and public parks.
Optional Extras
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all-in-one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
