This bulk load of 10kg bags of brown rock salt offers a cost-effective way to remove snow and ice from roads, pavements, industrial estates and large open spaces. The salt includes sand and dirt particles to help the salt stick to the surface, offering excellent friction and traction underfoot.

By stocking up on brown rock salt, you will ensure that you have plenty on hand to provide a safe and comfortable walking or driving surface during the unpredictable weather of the winter months. Our 10kg bags are much easier to handle and lift than standard 25kg bags, therefore reducing the risk of injury in your workforce.

Our rock salt meets BS3247:2011 which is the British standard for de-icing salt. It is the same quality as used by councils, local authorities and Highways England to ensure high footfall areas are clear of snow and ice.

This winter maintenance product is treated with an anti-caking agent which makes the salt free-flowing and suitable for use in many of our salt spreaders. It also helps to prevent the salt from solidifying during long-term storage.

Delivery Restrictions - Important

• Each pallet is 1.2 tonnes and cannot be delivered with a tail lift. A forklift (or some form of offloading) is required on site to offload.
• Please let us know of any delivery restrictions (weak bridges, narrow lanes etc).
• Failure to notify us of any such restrictions may result in a surcharge and delays.
• Due to the size and weight of the delivery lorries we need you to confirm that the area where you require the delivery is flat.
• We cannot deliver on sloping ground, as the tail lift must be able to lay flat on the ground.
• Please note that all products are delivered to the kerbside by a tail lift lorry, and our couriers are unable to deliver to a specific location on your property.
• All aggregates will require a signature upon delivery.
